Gladstone

It was a little boring, but the bike ride & the vanilla slice were good.
We are in Rockhampton tonight,it looks better than Gladstone.

The power station coming into Gladstone. Wendy & Gregs' van in front of us.

Bikes rigged & ready for a ride around Gladstone. A few short sharp hills encountered.

 The waterfront at the port.

The de commissioned patrol boat 'Gladstone' built in 1984, now a permanent display.

As above from the waterfront park.

Some old crappy little light house, with some obscure historical value.

The undoubtedly boring story of the above light house.
( This is about as exiting as it gets in Gladstone )

The patrol boat from a nearby hilltop lookout.

 Coal loading facility

Morning tea, the highlight of our day.

The Japanese tea garden at the botanical gardens ( the gardens were pretty ordinary )

 As above.

 Lunch at the waterside park.

A bird, one of many that joined us for lunch.
