Departed Rocky this morning for Mackay.
On the way we visited the Capricorn caves & explored the cathedral cave, followed by a delicious Devonshire tea. Arrived in Mackay just after 4pm. On the the bikes again tomorrow morning.
Entering the grounds to Capricorn caves.
Some sort of bullshit.
Greg tries out a very small cave, no one else was skinny enough to get in.
The mountainside entrance to the caves.
The entrance to Cathedral cave.
Heading down into the cave.
Some of the walkways & swing bridges within the cave. It is not as bright as it looks, the flash has made it look bright.
Within the the high vault of Cathedral cave. Many weddings are held here.
Looking down to Sue & Yvonne from a high platform.
Taking in the atmosphere.
The swing bridge was very wobbly & moved a lot.
Yvonne twisted her foot prior to departure this morning & by lunch time it was swelling quite badly.
Beachside lunch at Claireview.
The rocks on the beach had a lot of oysters, here's one of the ones I ate for lunchtime desert.
Mark with his oyster opening equipment.
Looking back toward our convoy from the beach.
Passing through Sarina.
Dinner at the camp kitchen, Mackay.
As above.
