This time we are heading out with Sue & Mark, Wendy & Greg. So there will will be NO slackering
( is slackering a word ? )as Greg will be cracking the whip when it comes to cycling.
We are leaving with a very comprehensive agenda. We will turn left at the highway & then take it as it comes for the next couple of months. Firstly north to some places in far North Queensland, after which we hope to end up somewhere in the desert in central Australia & maybe head further South to the Sterling ranges if its not too cold & wet at the time. No doubt there will be lots to see between these far flung locations.
Its Sunday the 20th of May today & we all hope to be on the road on Thursday the 24th.
We have completed all the repairs & minor modifications to the ute & the caravan, after returning from Western Australia at the end of last year.
It was a long one last year of 17,000 Km.
We expect this trip to be substantially shorter, no more than about 10,000 Km this time.
This is probably the longest intro you will see for the rest of the blog, as if you have looked at any of our previous blogs you will know they are short on verbage ( is that a word ? Am I slowly inventing a new language or becoming rapidly senile. ) & long on pictographs ( ?? ).
I will now stick some random picture in here, because I can't help myself.

ReplyDeleteOh that sounds like fun . . .enjoy . . .I'll just keep standing in front of righteous 12 year olds who know so much more about life and academia than I do. I'll just pretend I am doing something as wonderful as you. :)
ReplyDeleteWell, slackering is probably not a word, maybe slacking off is what you mean. Verbage is a word but the spelling is verbiage. Close, just missing an i - have fun, I will be keeping a close eye on your blog as I usually do. Roz
